Solidarity Greetings and hope u are well.

We are Feral Crust Collective, a small autonomous land project in the Philippines.

Would you mind if we ask for mutual support from you and your friends/collective/organization who might be interested with regard to our land project main house/community center?

We just began building a community house that is fully concrete with a size 22 ft x 20 ft floor aiming for stability and long-term usage. The community house project will be a shelter for visitors/guests of all ages-farmers and indigenous friends and their families and friends in the city, volunteers, and travelers from Philippines and overseas; we would be very happy to accommodate everyone when the house is complete.

Finally, we have now decided to collectively build a concrete house that will able to last longer than wooden structures responding to climate conditions(moisture and foggy weather) here at our place. Unfortunately, our existing bamboo and coconut lumber house still stands but is already deteriorating.

As for update about our house/community center, we are now working on fabricating steel to make concrete posts of the house, and plastering concrete mix for basement outer walls. After all surrounding posts is complete we can then proceed on piling up hollow/concrete blocks for the house walls. Then, next step is to work on the installation of trusses(for the construction of roofing).

We also want to reach out for your support, if u could maybe help with any amount of financial donation towards our house/community center as we aim to cover the cost for required additional construction materials and pay decent wage for skilled and manual labour (our farmer and builder friends), we are desperately in need at this time.

Moreover, we can send you some actual photos of the house/community center construction via attachment too, if u like.
